Dr. Parsons' Community Service and Awards
 WNBA Inspiring-Women AwardAnnually, the WNBA honors "individuals who have blazed new paths on the court, in the boardroom and in the community." Dr. Parsons was honored in 2008 in San Francisco, along with "Good Morning America" anchor Robin Roberts at the annual WNBA Inspiring Women's Luncheon. |  Rotarian since 2002I joined Rotary in 2002. I am a charter member of the Stone Oak Rotary Club and the club's first female president. I've also served at the district level for Rotary International District 5840. I am a Lieutenant Governor currently. I have served in the positions of assistant governor, district treasure, and Rotaract chairperson. It is an honor to serve Rotary! |  Speaking at the White HouseThe White House honored 10 Rotary women, known as Rotary's Women of Action, and I was fortunate enough to be selected as one of them. We each gave a speech at the White House about our humanitarian service through Rotary. |
