NEUROFEEDBACK
What is Neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback Is brain exercise. Through feedback, the brain learns to function more efficiently, correcting faulty brain patterning. When working with Dr. Parsons, you can change the speed (frequency) of your brainwaves through feedback/operant conditioning.
Neurofeedback is also known as EEG Biofeedback and Brainwave Biofeedback.
How is Neurofeedback Useful to Me?
Your brain governs everything about you, including your emotional and physical health. There is no such thing as a perfect brain. We all have some brain waves that can benefit from exercise. Neurofeedback can help train brains from early childhood to elderly individuals.
Neurofeedback can be helpful in correcting faulty brain waves. including: anxiety, addictions, ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, business performance, "chemo brain", depression, diabetes, eating disorders, emotional flexibility & balance, fatigue, fear, fibromyalgia, Focus and concentration, grief, insomnia, learning challenges, mental flexibility, OCD, pain management, peak performance, personality disorders, phobias, PTSD, reactive attachment disorder, relationship issues, seizure disorders, school performance, sports performance, stage fright, stress, strokes, talk therapy resistant individuals, trauma, weight control, writers block etc.
Sometimes there are situations where there's no diagnosis, but a person is experiencing challenges. By looking at individual's brain patterning on the EEG, Dr. Parsons can help determine which brain patterning is not optimal and could use assistance with neurofeedback.
Almost everyone can benefit from neurofeedback, whether the person is an athlete, business person, student, individual experiencing challenges, person with a diagnosis, etc. because neurofeedback works directly with correcting brain dysregulation.
